Greetings to everyone!  I am excited about the new school year and seeing your smiling faces.  Here are a few facts to introduce myself to all of you.  I am Brenda Riddick and will be teaching Resource ELA this year.  My journey in Gates County has resulted in 20-plus years working with many students and staff and even different schools.  I am a graduate of John A. Holmes High School in Edenton, NC, College of the Albemarle with an Associate degree in Business Administration, Chowan University with a BS Humanities Degree, and recently completed a 3-year cohort in Special Education from East Carolina University.  The success of all students is important to me.  Parent support is welcome and encouraged.  As the new school year begins, please instill in your child/ children to do their very best, exhibit their best behavior, and be the best Vikings they can be!
