Welcome to CMS!  During this school year, you will rotate between various classes during “specials” or “resource” time.  Your CMS teachers are Mrs. Turner (Library/Media Center), Mr. Riddick (PE), Mrs. Newbern (Dance), Mrs. Lewis (Art), Mrs. Steiner-Winn (Music), and Mrs. Ruffin (Guidance).  Dance, Art, and Music rotate throughout the year with just one at our school per nine weeks.  Guidance classes take the place of library class once a month per homeroom.  Library and PE are all year long.  CMS Classes are 45 minutes for kindergarten and first grade and 1 hour for second grade through fifth grade.  If you have any questions about CMS, please feel free to reach out to us.  Email is the best way to contact us or you can call us at 252-357-0613.  We look forward to an amazing year!
