* GES 2024-2025 Yearbooks are on sale now!

Yearbooks feature PreK through 5th grade students. Order by April 4, 2025 to ensure your student receives their yearbook in May. Yearbooks are $20 and can be purchased online using the following link OR you can send cash/check to Mrs. Turner in the library. Please make sure to put the cash/check in an envelope with a note saying it is for a yearbook. This helps make sure the money is used for a yearbook and not lunch/snack in the cafeteria.

Read Across Gatesville Photo Slideshow

Our 2nd-5th grade students took a few minutes from their busy schedules to go to a younger grade level and share a story for Read Across Gatesville Week. We also had a few community members come read to our fourth graders.

RCE Theater in Elizabeth City recently asked teachers to nominate students for the Super Reader award and one of our very own was chosen as a winner!

Congratulations to Ayden B in Ms. Boyce's 4th Grade Reading Class for being selected as one of their Super Readers!! We are proud of you, Ayden!

Our school day will begin at 8:00 AM and end at 3:10 PM (Pre-K at 2:30 PM). Please do not pickup students early unless the students have doctor's appointments or if there is an emergency.
