Hello my name is Nikki Galzerano! This is my first year at Gatesville Elementary School and my first year as a Pre-K teacher. Previously I was a kindergarten teacher for 5 years in another county. I have a bachelors degree in Birth-Kindergarten Education and a masters degree in School Administration; both from Elizabeth City State University. I chose early childhood education because I believe that creating a strong foundation early on will contribute to success in the future. 

Ms. Jo Chapman is the teacher assistant in my room.

Here at Gatesville Elementary in Pre-K we make learning engaging and enjoyable! We use the following programs in our classrooms: Second Step, Letter land, and Creative Curriculum. We all work together in the Pre-K Department to ensure that all children have a safe, positive, and engaging environment to grow and learn!
