• Red Ribbon Week 2019-2020
     
    Red Ribbon Week will be celebrated the week of October 28th.  Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States. Each day will begin by listening to the morning announcement about saying NO to drugs and the good reasons why followed by recognizing the theme designated to help students learn to "Say No To Drugs".  It is as followed: 
     
    Monday, 10/28 No School---Teacher workday
    Tuesday, 10/29  Wear Red Day....students and staff wear red to show support. 
    Wednesday, 10/30 Wear your favorite/wacky-funny socks...put a sock on drugs.  
    Thursday, 10/31   Wear your favorite team gear...we are teaming up against drugs. 
    Friday  11/1 Fall Festival
     
    We will have Gates County Sheriff's Department and Mrs. Denice Miller (Puppet Lady) to come out and share with our students many reasons to say no and why. Students will also watch a Virtual Video from Discovery Education.
